Default Power steering fluid - speed sensitive steering

I have a 2005 V70 2.4 T5.. It has four-c and also "speed sensitive steering"

Does anyone know what power steering fluid it would use? - im seeing conflicting info with some saying it should be red ATF, and some saying green CHF?

I noticed the fluid is a little bit low, right on the bottom tip of the dipstick... but im also thinking there may be some value in flushing it out, give the car has done over 200k now...

Thanks

Check but I'm pretty confident it will be green CHF11S spec fluid. Use the search function on here as there are several methods of changing it....I used a turkey baster to suck out the old oil but you can disconnect a hose and pump it out. Others have also hung a strong magnet to get the metallic sludge out of the system.

You should use CHF11S which is a green colour, do not use ATF fluid ( which is red )!

This is how I would recommend changing the fluid:

Worth watching his other videos, really helpful!

You can also install a magnefine filter, but it’s not really necessary.
