Ecm-0038 flow too high
Hi,
I'm having some problems with my V70 2.5TDi 2000 D5252T. At first, I tried the Volvo service. Everything with "EGR" in name was replaced. Then, I bought the DiCE and found out that the problem is ECM-0038 Flow too high. I searched the forums and I suspect the turbo control valve. However, the car is in the service now again and the guys claim that the turbo is OK. EDIT: The MAF was replaced too. Does anyone have any suggestions? Did anyone experience the same thing? Thanks... |

worth checking the maf live data, i've seen new ones(aftermarket) giving bad readings from new, the only other thing i can think of is a leak in the intake system somewhere, intercooler would be a prime suspect.

So, I had some time to play with the car today and:
1) The error that is raised by the MAF sensor is "ECM-0039 Boost pressure control - flow to high" 2) I made some screenshots of the new BOSCH MAF in VIDA, the blue curve is the desired value, the green curve is the actual value 3) For some reason, I don't remember why - probably someone told me, I checked the "dynamic pump setting" and the values are 3-4 degrees off. Could that be the reason for the ECM-0039 fault? 4) I checked the hoses, everything seems to be tight, no leakage found... Last edited by rasemailcz; Dec 22nd, 2019 at 21:33. |
