This would only be a fall back position in case someone bans ICEs completely. I'm really glad you liked the wheels - I'm absolutely delighted with them. Alan

I'd have to come up with a different idea for the Rover as that is FWD but as it has equal length driveshafts (no torque steer! ) it should make life easier. Losing the petrol tank would also free up space for batteries and/or control gear on whatever vehicle, the advantage of a RWD vehicle is you have a transmission tunnel which can hide the motor and the engine bay can house the batteries, fuel filler flap becomes a door for the charging point.................... You've certainly done yourself proud on the wheels, for a total cost of ~£60 plus some labour you've got a very presentable, very nice set of wheels.

Continuing on over-priced cars, this one failed to attract any bids at a £1900 starting price:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-240....m46890.l49292 ... it is an unfinished project with accident damage that is a very long way from getting a MoT. In which world could that possibly be worth nearly two grand? What a world we live in. Alan

I think it must be an alien auction Alan, that pricing is out of this world! On another note, you could have a look at this that happens to have an AW70/71 in it : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1988-Volv...n/324395687952 Just a thought of course as i know you more than likely have a good one lined up.
