400 Series General Forum for the Volvo 440, 460 and 480 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Desperate need of a hazard switch!!!

Hi all im in need of a hazard switch either for loan or to buy but i need it today :/ ive got my mot and just need to get it through, ive ordered one off ebay but it wont be here till monday, id only need it for a couple of hours, please and thank you and other niceties

Im in Poole, Dorset by the way!

or... would anyone know if a hazard switch off something like an early s40 or an 850 would have the same wiring? i dont care if it sticks out, just aslong as it works

Unfortunatly the 400 series is not a popular car and this section only seens a small number compared to s40 section for example. I would try the 480 fanvlub thoigh, might get help on there a bit quicker and i think the wiring and dash etc is the same for them as 440/460
