Smile Disc savers

Hi, I originally started the thread on "disc savers" on the subject keeping alloys clean. I have had a set fitted on my 940 for the last twelve years with NO detrimental effect. The braking has not been affected in the slightest (and I tow a heavy caravan) As to balance, the disc savers remain on the inside of the wheel and the wheel is balanced with them in situ. NO problems. I recently picked up a 960 for use as the tow wagon. Alloys black in no time. I obtained a set of disc protectors and had them fitted early this week, balanced on wheel and now have clean wheels. No adverse effect on braking and no problem with balance. Best thing since sliced bread. George.

Hi Arcturus - did you fit 'KleenWheels'. If not, what did you use?
