Yes and no. Last week I removed the lever button and checked it’s continuity between the spades on the back, but not with the wires attached. Last night I went through each wire in turn to isolate it and realised that this length between the plug and the lever button was the only part I still hadn’t checked 🙄 At least it’s a cheap fix. The OD dash light still isn’t working though?

As for the m90 swap: probably not going to bother. The aforementioned high clutch bite isn’t actually high after all. I think I was just used to the dual mass feel of the LPT’s M90. After a few days use I’ve just gotten used to it. It certainly isn’t slipping. So no point fixing something which isn’t broken.

As with everything faulty, all the evidence is there once you find the fault. Always the last bit you look at as well! Probably just the bulb blown in the O/D ("5"?) warning light, perhaps a previous owner used the bulb for something else because the O/D wasn't working?

As you say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
