Question V70 T6 Polestar query

Just wondering still about getting my car Polestar-ed. I get that they modify the engine and throttle software. Does anyone know if they modify the transmission software too?
Thanks
Andy

On some models the TCM profile is also updated - you're best to query Polester directly for the specifics of the package you are looking at.

There shouldn't be any software to modify on a manual gearbox. You're moving all the linkages manually or just with a bit of hydraulic assistance.

I paid £560 on a deal, official price is £850 I think.

No idea of local remap prices, am told local Celtic tuning remap less than £300 but no experiance of it.

I think he was hoping that there was a gearbox controller wetware upgrade included in the package?

Polestar Optimisation only upgrades the 8spd auto transmission with the 2.0L 4 cylinder VEA engines.
However, with other models the gearbox adaptation may change with the engine tuning as you drive it.

Just for clarity, are you saying that a polestar remap will not upgrade the auto transmission software on my 2012 XC70 D5 AWD? I wouldn't turn down extra bhp/torque but it is the possibility of an improvement to the rather pedestrian transmission software that was interesting me in polestar.
