  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

I would also add my approval of using a "rust remedy" or "rust cure" product.

I've used these a lot and the results are excellent.

My personel fav is Granville heavy duty rust cure, but I'm sure they all do pretty much the same job.

Because of where your rust is...............I'd be careful about getting too carried away with a grinder or rough paper.

Sometimes a car with an amature (no offence) repair on body work can actually look worse than a spot of rust.

If it was me - I would take off the loose bits, then apply the rust converter.

It goes black once set and I suspect will look fine with your colour car.
