Unhappy urgent plea for help! Portsmouth

Hi

I'm in the middle of changing my intercooler on my s60 d5, following the guides on here and I'm having an absolute nightmare getting the new one in... I've been advised to put it up through the bottom but I just cant see how this is possible without taking the radiator out, which to be honest I'm not sure how to do anyway...

Is there anyone in the Portsmouth area that can assist at all?? I'd of course be willing to pay...all the mobile mechanics in the area are fully booked and my car in in bits. If anyone could help I'd be most grateful

Read this. It will go from the bottom BUT you need the car on ramps. See the post by Steptoe69 and the link to photos.

thank you...just having a bit of a flap. I calmed down a little, got a second pair of hands (the missus) and with a bit of manouvering its gone back in. In the process of putting everything together now and it will hopefully work. The problem is each guide seems to suggest a different way of doing it! if it helps anyone I'm gonna do a quick run through of how I did it once its all done, which again differs a little from the other how to's
