If you look at the patch of light on the left of the bulb, you can already see the output is brighter!

The Bi Zenon lights on my S60 are milky as well. No way to get at them to clean them though.

My headlights are like this too.I thought the plastic reflector had burned off due to the lights being on at all times. I will be doing this fix thanks.

A little update after doing my lights a few days ago which I thought was good anyway. This evening I drove from Liverpool to Carlisle over Shap in crap weather the difference is very very noticeable. Well worth doing.

Has anybody bought the clear projector glass in the link in the OP or from anywhere for that matter.
Thinking of doing this to mine but would like second opinions first. |

Easy to do, plenty of tutorials online, just make sure you get the beam pattern checked professionally afterwards It really is the best mod to do, makes driving down unlit moorland roads around here a pleasure. There is a company in the Netherlands who sell similar now, cheaper than the TRS route as you'll get stung with import tax etc. |

DrJekyll you would be an ideal candidate to install some clear lenses with those HIDs, see below:
I have projector bi-xenons in my S60... but cleaning those lenses is a "Bake headlamp in the oven to separate" job cause they cant be removed from the back like the S40...... so despite having new bulbs I have darker patches and hotspots... very annoying. S40 envy!
