The links posted so far compared the Michelin CC against its all-season brothers, I'm ok with that.
But CTCNetwork posted that Michelin CC out-performed some winter tyres (in winter testing conditions I suppose). I would like some evidence to back-up this claim.

Years ago I went for a business meeting just outside Lisbon in October and made the foolish assumption that it would be warm! A mohair suit was not the most appropriate attire first thing in the morning especially when crossing the bridge towards Siexal. As I was shivering the agent stopped at a cafe so that we could warm up but we even had to take care in the car park because of the ice. Thankfully by the afternoon the sun was out and the temperature rose to a very pleasant level.

Yes, warmth is a relative thing
Normally OK from 10am - 5pm but single digits or less afterwards. I live about 1.5hrs north of Lisbon and it is normal to get negative temps on the way to work @7am.
Worse moving north or towards the interior.
