OK gents,

I've had the same intermittent problem with the drivers front speaker.
Occasionally it just goes off.
As the thread above, I suspected dodgy wiring, tired speaker etc etc.
But try this: every time it has gone off in the last few months, I've done a 'restore factory setings' on the radio, nothing else, and it's come back on.

This is without turning the ignition, adjusting anything, whacking it, open/shutting the door etc. Just a reset.
That to my mind says the problem is with the rad rather than the speaker.

Default Volvo S40 Speaker Blown

Hi there guys, I am fairly new to forums and so forgive me if I have posted in the wrong place.

My car is a 2011 Volvo s40 rdesign 1.6 d2

the small speakers on the back doors are rattling and I presume blown, one of the larger one in the passenger door has also blown, could anyone help with what I need to replace these.

I would like the same speakers to replace if not just as good quality as with the R design I was given the high performance speaker package.

Where do I begin???

Morning Jamie, you have posted this in the XC90 section so probably not going to get much response.

I would repost in correct section.
