Thought it best to say Hi as I'm a new member.Just picked up a 2002 V70 on Saturday it's had several owners but is fairly low mileage 124,000 (so just about run in) and well looked after body wise. Serviced every 12 months by and bought from Corner Garage in Warton Lancs who specialize in Volvos I used to have an S60 ages ago and always remembered what a good ride it was.I do my own maintenance as I share a unit with my sons who are also into cars. Had a look underneath it yesterday, no corrosion visible, but several bushes definitely need changing. The front suspension I see is pretty conventional but the back looks like it could be challenging, just need to identify the part numbers. I've found a couple of discs I bought when I had the S60 which appear to be Vadis on one and the other says it's wiring diagrams, however I've just noticed that the Vadis one has stalled during installation on a spare (old) laptop so I'd better go and see what's wrong.
