Thanks for the info do you know what would be a reasonable quote from a garage in London? Thing is I need to take it in for abs sensor, and bushes anyway so thought I might as well get that done at the same time.

Remove your oil filler cap and place a latex glove over the filling point. Start your engine and if the glove starts to inflate, the the PCV needs doing.
