Default Jacking point corroded - MOT fail

Hi all,
my 55 plate XC90 is begining to see a need for corrosion treatment, made more obvious by the MOT fail this morning on Rear Jacking Points too badly corroded.

Anybody have ideas for an off-the-shelf solution for a replacement Rear Jacking Point?

Have heard of bolt-on replacements but cannot find.

That is most unusual - if it's the point for the temporary jack for changing wheels then it's part of the sill.

I've never seen or heard of an XC90 with corrosion in this area before. rear subrames are usually the first area.

That is what I thought, but it seems certainly for my older model and according to the VIDA drawing, there is such a part!
Strangely one Volvo dealership said no such part, get a welder to fabricate something, and the other sent me the drawing and the part number, one available, the other coming from Sweden. Its a bolt on part @£55 inc VAT.
Will be interesting to see what turns up!

Sounds like there pulling a fast one if indeed it is only surface corrosion wire brush it and treat with rust stabiliser then Lanoguard. Mine had an advisory before i bought it of corrosion under vehicle i have inspected underneath and it is only surface corrosion so i intend to wire brush stabilise and Lanoguard mine

Please share the part number (and the drawing, if you can)

Cheers

I suspect its the mounting plate for the subframe which is where you would put a trolley jack or the contact point for a 2 post lift. Still unusual for it to be corroded that badly.
