Swedish Day update, just over a week to go.
Hi everyone, here is the latest news.
We want to welcome DCA as a Sponsor, they will be choosing “The Best in Show” award.
For those who are joining us for the carvery Saturday I have the menu below, please choose your starters and pudding and let me know as soon as possible so I can tell chef, thank you.

Brussels pate and toast

Vegetarian is available.

apple and cider crumble with custard
Eton mess cheesecake with cream
banana split ice cream sundae
Nicolas Demuynck, a Belgian Saab fan, has published a book called “Saab 64 : 1947-2011”. It was only published three weeks ago. Over the weekend you will be able to see this book for yourselves and get Nicolas to sign your copy.
Don’t forget auto jumble and stands are free this year, so if you have any items, Swedish related, here is your chance to offer it to others. Saturday night camping free too.

Happily the forcast is looking good for Sunday even though its raining here in Yeovil at the moment.
Trophies are in the house and there is a bottle of bubbly and a bar of chocolate for each of the award winners.
Since I last typed there is a 10th prize. Etienne from Belgium has put a goodie bag together and this choice will be decided jointly by the Scouts that will be at the show.
Talking about the scouts (who are there to help park you), they will be there selling bacon butties and any money raised will go towards their troop.

I was hoping to make this but distance and cost said otherwise.
I had a very long trip last weekend 300 miles and what with the southern coming up next weekend it wasn't possible.

I hope it was ok for all that turned out and hopefully someone will have taken lots of pictures for us to see.

I had one of the only 2 C70s there, I too was disappointed the grass hadn't been cut again, especially as I lowered my car yesterday.
