dcthompson Junior Member Last Online: May 17th, 2021 23:32 Join Date: Nov 2015 Location: Ann Arbor	123GT--handbrake cable after rear end swap I am nearing completion of a 100% restoration of my 123GT. I have made some discrete improvements along the way, including replacing the original rear end assembly with one from an 1800ES. My handbrake cable is now too short. Can anyone tell me whether the cable from a different Volvo (e.g. an E or ES) will fit? If I can't find something I will simply have to weld extensions onto the original cable. Has anyone out there performed this modification?
