Default Gearbox info for '97 V90

Afternoon all

I think this might be in the owners manual but I'm going to ask anyways.

Where can I find info on the gear position number/engine rpm in each of the 4 gears for the auto box?

Cheers

Pages 57 &58 by Document Viewer of this pdf :

http://www.myvolvolibrary.info/Tech_...DataPocket.pdf

The page numbers of the original document are 108-111 but when you find them, all the info is there, lock-up speeds, kickdown changes, 25% throttle changes etc. Note that speeds given are in kmh, not mph so you will have to convert.

Are you having a problem with it?

Dave, I went to access the file and McAfee said 'Whoa! Are you sure you want to go there?' and 'Website status - slightly risky'. Is McAfee being overly cautious?

Mmmm I'm not sure.

It seems to be hanging onto to the gears a bit longer than I remember it doing so a few weeks ago but it could just be me. Just thought I'd do some reading and see if any of the info matches up. I know it's dues a fluid change which I intend to do in the next few weeks so maybe that'll help it?

You haven't pressed the S button inadvertently by any chance......?

I only suggest this because once (in my old V70) the car suddenly went all sluggish and the warning arrow light came on....it turned out that the dog had put his paw on the W button......! But it took me a few miles of cursing and grumbling before I twigged.

I've been using it for several years now Eric, no problems at all both on Windoze 7 & 10 and also on Ubuntu Linux Bionic Beaver (yes, seriously, the current version of Liux is called "Bionic Beaver"! ) so i suspect Mc Afee is throwing its toys out of the pram.

I've known of it doing it before with pdf files, it doesn't seem to like them somehow!

Wouldn't think you'd have a problem if you do access it by telling McAfee to behave itself but if it still won't let you, give me a shout and i'll reboot my PC on Windoze and then copy the relevant pages onto Paint and make jpg files out of them then upload to postimages and post them as pictures.
I haven't figured out how to do the same on Linux yet, i'm sure there's a way i just haven't found it!
