I agree with the above, and you likely won't see any improvement whatsoever without the installation of new shocks and springs.

UPDATE

I've been meaning to get around to fixing this sway bar for well over a year, but have been busy.

The reason why this sway bay wasn't effective is because for whatever reason the holes in the Elevate way bar are too big for OEM bolts on the droplinks.

Bit of research says that OEM Mazda3 MPS (Mazda Speed3) drop links fit the elevate sway bar perfectly, whereas regular Mazda3/Ford Focus/Volvo droplinks etc are a couple of mm too small in diameter for the Elevate bar.
Somebody over at swedespeed made a thread about this, and they effectively shimmed the gap using aluminum tube with an outer diameter of 0.5inch/12.7mm and drilled the inner diameter to 9.8mm to fit perfectly.

I will also be doing this, but for now I have jammed some small washers into the gap to act as shims, and now the anti-roll element kicks in immediately... rear end of the car feels very smooth also.

This is just a heads up for anyone who does buy the Elevate bar... it's very good, just for whatever reason the holes are too big for the OEM droplinks
