Default Making a C30 T5 handle like a Focus ST?

Hi all, I'm looking at the MK2 Focus ST. Naturally, I have also been looking over at the C30 T5. It is a lot easier to find a well looked after C30 T5 at a much lower price than a trashed ST. I'm also loving the idea of having a sleeper, especially if I get a non R-Design trim. However, it certainly doesn't handle as well, and has a mashoove steering wheel. I used to own a V50 T5 for a couple years and I miss it.

So, I was wondering what do I need to do to make the C30 handle much more like a Focus ST? It has to be much more than simply springs & dampers, and a different steering wheel? Are parts directly interchangeable, or not quite?

TIA!

tbh if you want something that handles like a focus St, I would just get a focus ST with the price you will have to pay to acheive that.

Comparing the standard platform, the ST has more power and way better handling out the box. The Volvos are more your cruisers.

But if you do decide you want a Volvo T5 that handles like an ST, yes I would only consider the C30 T5.

All the mods are easily done and interchangable, but you will need everything from arms / to suspension, wheels, antiroll's etc but then also the ST has a bigger intercooler as well for the extra omph it has.

All in all, if you want and ST ... get an ST.

I have a Volvo S40 T5 and its pretty much had near everything changed on it to run the RS MK2 parts ... been a long and expensive journey.
