Get one from ebay, as you know the BCM is part of the immobilizer so if you get new it has to be done with vida online, if used you can swap the module which is part of the abs pump. What's the reason for replacement?

First check what dtc you have. There is another way of doing this but you need dice and vdash, you can clone your existing BCM, but you have to confirm that the BCM is working at least to the point that can be accessed by the diagnostic.

How old is the battery? If its 2 liter diesel then with weak battery you may wipe the immmo sync from CEM just when you try to start.

Hi ele 288, it was diagnosed by Volvo as brake module , to give then credit they did test other options , as they thought it was a bit pricey for a module , £1350 , just for the part 😩😩

Ok, the BCM is made of 2 components, hydraulic pump (often them fail as pressure sensor is FAILING) and electronic module. Module is held by 2 torx and can be separated. Used BCM on ebay or brakes is around 20-30. You can use vdash to clone yours if you can connect to the module. If not then you have to open the casing of the module and clone the eeprom. What was the codes? You should have print from the dealer diagnostic
