Default Starting problem 2000 S70

Changed fuel pump but problem persists.
Fuel system seems to lose pressure over several hours of time. Loses all pressure overnight. No smell of fuel leaking. No sign of fuel leak.
I turn key to start fuel pump pressure, then turn to crank. Car always starts.
Often, after I turn ignition to "off", and try to restart, car "cranks" but no ignition. Like a carburetor that is flooded.
Often many attempts will fail.
So far, eventually, after some time of waiting, I've eventually got lucky and it restarted.
Very unpredictable and very unreliable.

Have any of you had a similar experience? It is unlikely the new fuel pump as I've have same symptoms with both pumps.
