Servicing in Surrey/Hampshire
I am due to put the 850T5 in for it 90k service soon, and was wondering if there are any places anyone can recommend/warn about near either Sutton, Surrey of Farnborough Hampshire. What sort of damage will I be looking at for a Volvo main dealer/approved garage to carry out the service (and hence provide a stamp for the service history)?
Thanks in advance. |

RE: Servicing in Surrey/Hampshire
Hi Nik,
I recently had mine serviced at the main dealer called Lancaster's of Guildford. They're actually located in Pirbright in Surrey, just a few miles from Farnborough. Just the basic 130K service and some new wiper blades all round set me back around £250.00. They did collect and deliver the car and mentioned a couple of other items that I need to attend to soon. Received a discount owing to the age of the car which you'll be eligible for too. Other than that there is an independent specialist located in Blackwater, near Camberley, I think called Tierney, though have never used them. It all depends what's in the schedule at 90K, assuming your cambelt was changed at 80K. HTH. |

RE: Servicing in Surrey/Hampshire
I know this is a bit late and perhaps also a bit far but
SW Autos in Biddenden Kent are very good indeed. Just had my R servicesd (130K) and the service elemet that is discounting the charge for replacing the door stop etc cam eto about £100 Give Stuart a call if you can travel across 01580 291588 BTW they were recommended to me by three guys on the forum when I moved to Kent. And Stuart races an 850R Br John |
