Default 240 estate number plate lamps

Hi all

I'm needing 2 lamps in good condition for my estate; can anyone help please?

Also still looking for the tailgate interior lamp switch please.

I would suggest that you buy new number plate lamps from a Volvo dealer. The basic design of that lamp suffers with age so you might not find good secondhand ones. And the current design is a bit improved. They are not expensive and if you mention the forum you might well get a "trade" discount.

If it's just the metal connections that are corroded you may be able to fix them yourself, with a bit of effort. Mine were pretty ropey and didn't always work, so I took them apart and spent some time cleaning them up with some wet and dry paper and wire wool. I put some new bulbs in, protected them from the elements with some electrical tape, and they have worked perfectly for well over a year now.

As above, get new ones from the Volvo dealer. Or from somewhere like CVI Automotive which is where I got mine from.
