Hello everyone

I need to replace manual transmission oil in my S60, 2002 year, petrol, currently has 250 000 km. Could You tell me what kind of oil i can use please?

Can I use Castrol Transmax Manual V 75W80?

I wrote an email to Castrol. I received a reply that:

1. Two oils are recommended for the automatic transmission in the S60:

- Castrol Transmax ATF DEXRON-VI MERCON LV Multivehicle
- Castrol Transmax ATF Dex/Merc Multivehicle

2. While for the manual transmission one, the best fit is an oil with a viscosity of 75W80, but they did not specify the specific type. I used Castrol Syntrans V FE 75W80, the transmission is performing great. I recommend it

Try your Volvo dealer or ebay.....I paid about 25 euros for 2 litres....look at SiRobb's video on you tube - it's an easy job.
