Mike, I have had the iPhone 6 since launch, works perfectly in the car, phone, contacts, recent call, texts etc absolutely no issues at all.

Just had notification of a system update for my Sony Xperia Z1. I assume this is lollipop update.
Has anyone done the lollipop upgrade and still retained all the functionality with sensus and bluetooth and message readout function? I dare not activate it for fear of going back whereby certain features of the functionality stopping.

Maybe right about not being lollipop at it appears to be a 5 MB download which seems quite low in relation to other upgrades - although it does state a new system upgrade and latest version of android!! Maybe will google the software version to check before downloading which is 14.4.A.0.157
----------------- On further check it does in fact appear to be a minor upgrade and not therefore lollipop but do I risk it................

Flux,
All I can find is this. The update adds only minor bug fixes, including improved camera functionality. So far, smartphone owners haven’t reported any changes in the user interface or software improvements. 5mb is very small, if your camera is working fine I might not worry about it but seems pretty low key for an upgrade. |

Thanks Ian.
Given that it didn't appear to be as OS update I went for it and am pleased to advise that all is working as before and no apparent conflict with Sensus. Messages can still be read and call lists etc are still there and the Wifi and bluetooth functions work fine............Now not sure if the same will be said about lollipop which is due to be phased in early next year.

Flux,
There's no problem with Lollipop itself, I have the vanilla version on a Nexus 5 and it's fine. It all depends on what bloatware Sony decide to incorporate alongside it................
