Flux, I would agree with you...........but having just brought my wife a new 5 Dr Mini Cooper powered by a 1.5 3-Cylinder with twin turbo's I was literally blown away.
The engine is just so powerful from only 3-Cylinder's and has an amazing sound that makes driving this car so much fun.
My wife has always thought of a car as a motorised box to get from A to B but this nippy mini has at the age of 60 totally changed her driving experiences.
I think that these little 3-Cylinder engines in a high power output configuration is the way to go for small cars.

Now back to Volvo's - my cheque book is still waiting for when I can order my next XC60 in a T8 configuration..............
