1968 Volvo Amazon 123GT - FOR SALE

I've just listed my 1968 Volvo Amazon 123GT for sale on ebay (item number 330395262592), it's an original 3 owner car from new, with approx 50,000 original miles. Red with a black interior, almost complete but in need of restoration.

The engine starts up and turns over, but as it's been standing for a few years it would need to be picked up rather than driven away (no MOT either).

The car has the usual 123GT extras, like rev counter, spot lights...but at some stage it has been fitted with the P1800 gearstick. I'm sure this was something that Ruddspeed offered as an option when they converted some of the cars from new...but just to be clear, this is not a Ruddspeed car...it's just been converted to take the later gearstick (shorter and further back than the original one).

The bought the car with every intention of restoring it, but as with these projects I simply don't have the time and it's just another project I'll never get around to finishing.

It would be a shame to break it as I think it's worth saving...but the car does have rust and would need lot's of work to get it back on the road. I don't want anyone to think it's a quick patch up and paint job.

I'll try and get better photos of the car as some of these photos are a little too small to see any detail.

The car is currently stored with Brian Gue of Amazonia, and he's based in Denham, near Eye in Norfolk his number is 01379 871561, please feel free to look at/inspect the car, but it's best to call Brian first and make an appointment rather than just turning up.
