Question 1 dtc then 2 now back to 1 ???

Good Morning all

I wonder if anybody has encountered this or has any ideas on the likely suspect please ?
I changed the injectors on my s40 D4204T 05 plate and on the test drive to check for smoke etc, the MIL engine service light came on, no smoke but definitely lack of boost from the turbo.
I plugged in the gizmo which gave me P299 DTC which as I understand it is low boost, cleared the dtc, checked all the hoses that I could get at from the top of the engine and all seems fine, test drive again which then gave me P299 and P2263 which is a generic turbo control dtc, which remains logged but P299 has disappeared together with the MIL.
Boost is very much missing but nil smoke so I`m leaning towards a failure of the TCV valve as being the culprit.
Will be very grateful for any advice and thoughts.

Cheers

David

Hi, many thanks for your reply.
Interesting, i have located the one behind the drivers side wheel well which looks like an almighty PITA to get at but I wasn’t aware of the other one, any ideas where that one is lurking please
Cheers David

Found upon closer inspection the small pipe attached to the inlet manifold had become detached, reattached and hey presto alls right with the world. Thanks all
