Volvo 480 2.0 water from exhaust
Recently bought a 480 2.0ES 1994 with 108K miles, in OK condition but in need of some mechanical and cosmetic work to make it nice and roadworthy.
Has a fresh MOT but I can't see how it could possibly have passed as the inner walls of the tyres are very cracked and perished. Needs some love as I reckon it has not really been serviced very well since 2003 (age of the tyres and service history ending) Noticed that every time I run the car the exhaust seems to emit quite a dribble of water. Checked the oil and water levels, all good. No mayo around the filler cap. Engine sounds good at idle. Any ideas where all this water can be coming from? Many thanks in advance.......

Yes - condensation, just as Clan says (and he is certainly one of those on here who knows exactly what he is talking about).
Get the car into more regular use and a couple of decent length journeys to really dry the system out and it will get a lot better. David
