My exec unit had a screw either side at the rear/bottom, and then slid off easily.

Had mine off when I did the handbrake. The RSE cables are long enough to allow the thing to be moved out of the way without being disconnected (at least they are on mine!).

All I want to do is remove the cupholder so I can retrieve a dongle from inside the console.
Anyone know if the cupholder can be easily removed? |

If it is just the cup insert then the is a locking clip underneath the holder as you pull it out (on my SE LUX MY09)... if this is pressed up then the whole "tray" is removeable .... to refit just align the slides and gently push back in until resistance is felt then a but more force until the retainer clip re-engages and the tray will now fully push home .... Hope it helps
