Default XC90 MY 19 - Poor Trim fit ?

Anyone else with a XC90 MY19, or i guess any Model year that has a poorly fitted trim just above the Volume control and other buttons ? I checked 2 others at the dealer and they were similar. The left hand side is a nice flush and tight fit, but to the right there is a gap. Curious if anyone else has this ? It is quite hard to photograph with the phone, but hopefully the following makes sense, from in the car it is more obvious that the right hand side is not flush.

Me neither - but I can see a slight poor trim fit just above the red circle or is it the result of the camera’s flash?

Very difficult to photograph as the flash over exposes it, will try and get another tomorrow. Suffice to say if you had a XC90 and it didn't fit well like ours, you would notice it.

My XC90 17 model has the wood trim and fits perfectly so maybe something to do with the metal trim.

OK, been back out to take some photos. hopefully the below makes is clearer. Left hand side trim nice and tight, almost behind the dash material. The right hand side has a gap.

I appreciate that it is very difficult to show in a photograph but I still don't see a problem. That's not to say there's no problem, just that the photographs just don't show it like you see it with your eyes and find obvious.

I think you are trying to show a greater gap across the top right hand side. If so, have you tried giving the trim a sensible whack upwards? It is only a bit of trim located, probably, by lugs in plastic. I know that you can get kits to change the trim [from metal to various wood choices] and I've seen the instructions somewhere for removal and refitting those kits, so there might well be some adjustment possible between those parts of yours.

Look at the top photo, see where the top of the silver trim meets the grey of the dash on the left hand side top corner, follow that line to the right, is it not possible to see the gap between the silver trim and grey dash increasing ? which on the lower photo increases as it reaches the top right corner of the silver trim meeting the grey...
