DAB Radio?
Daft question, maybe.
How do you manual search for for additional Dab radio stations? All I have are preset BBC ones. I have looked in the menu, but cannot find out how to search. Have I missed something? Thank you. tem.

I thought it was automatic. On a trip through Manchester to Liverpool, the available choices changed to localised stations there.

I put my postcode into the dab website and it stated that I could receive Smooth Radio. I can get it on a smart tv and wondered if I could get it on the car Sensus. Thanks, again. tem.

Smooth moved to DAB+ last year, which might be why you can't find it (not sure the 2017 cars support DAB+ stations).
The fact you only see BBC stations means it might be something else, though. First, make sure you're using the DAB radio app, not the Favourites app (scroll right, then tap "DAB". Other stations are hidden under "Library", then make sure you're on the "Stations" tab, not "Favourites". You could also try a straight search by tapping the magnifying glass. In the default mode the stations are grouped by ensemble (ie groups, so BBC go in one chunk, then national stations like Virgin and Absolute in another, and local stations in yet another). It's not obvious but can be changed in the settings. |
