ABS/DSTC service required
Hi,
like others, I have had ABS/DSTC service required message. Car still ran OK but DSTC "off". Garage gave the following codes: C004064- brake pedal switch a algorithm based failures. Signal plausibility failure C00201c- abs pump motor control general electrical failures. Circuit voltage out of range They reset them and they have not reappeared yet. Two questions:- anyone seen these two occur in tandem before and secondly, anyone near postcode PR26 got a fault code reader/tech knowledge if I need help in the future, thanks, Tim |

Any updates on this problem??
I am picking up a 2008 S80 D5 Geartronic AWD next week and it has this message on the display. The dealer (not main) said this would be sorted before I pick up the car. |

ABS sorted
Hi,
got this sorted out by local garage. Module had failed so they took it off and sent it to be Remanufactured" as per other threads. Cost about £500, took around 5 days. Pain in the butt! When ytou think that there was nothihg wrong with the car and this was just a spurious electronic glitch, Volvo should be ashamed as this is a v common issue. |
