Default Fuse Advice

I have recently checked my car to make sure that the washer bottle needs filling message comes up and it does. I also was going to remove No 8 washer fuse that controls the headlamp washers but it seems it is below a tray of fuses. Is this a simple task to remove the top tray to gain access to the lower tray because it looks like the battery will need disconnecting and this in its self could pose problems. Any constructive advice would be most appreciated.

It may be that there has been a change in wiring to the cars as on 2010 it is fuse 24 in the 'b block' which is easily accessible on the RHS of the engine compartment (looking from the front)

Mot sure when this change occured.

There has been a change and it is now fuse No8, which is situated under the main fuse box.
I checked my V60 today and it also in the same location.
I would like to remove this 20 amp fuse, as last winter I had the washer arms frozen in the extended position, for over a week.

Can anyone explain how one gains access to this lower fuse box?
If not, I will ask the Dealership in around 4 weeks, when I go for the QA inspection.

Thank you.
