XC90 new grill

Does anyone know if the new 2019 grill will fit a early 2019 car? Mine was registered in March 2019 but has the old grill and I’d like to swap it out with the new one.

I've just seen the two types of grille side by side on an old (2017) and a new XC90 (2020).

The outer shape, which is a chrome surround, appears to be utterly identical in outer perimeter shape and size.

There is a difference between the two grilles but this is only to do with the artistic design of the central vertical elements.

I have not checked the internal fixings, which should be on the outer chrome surround, but I think the new grille may well, quite easily fit the older car.

A 'Sale or Return purchase deal ' might best be necessary so that the new grille can be returned back to the dealer in the event that it does not actually fit. I would suggest it be bought on the Internet where buyers have better rights of return.
