Bargain Volvo 480 1.7 Turbo in Black
As above, I have my brothers volvo 480 Turbo in good condition just needs a little love and attention. Has had a new starter motor and battery and was running fine but has been sitting a while and is now not starting so probably would need towing/trailoring.
From memory it's a 1994 auto in black with half leather and all the usual gadgets and approximately 120,000 miles but will need to double check this and a few months MOT remaining. Other than a few marks and a little rust on the body work the car is sound though i believe the passenger side window is a little temperamental. A little effort will make this a lovely cheap Turbo for someone. Only asking £400ono which in my opinion is very cheap for a Turbo that may only need very little work. Offers welcome as just need a quick sale. I'm new to the forum and rarely on here so easiest way to contact me is on [Admin deleted mobile number] Mo Last edited by JamesV70R; Oct 29th, 2022 at 22:43. |

Its a shame that this appears not to be getting the interest it deserves.
This is quite a rare car. One of the last of the much loved turbo's - 1721cc if I'm not mistaken, but with the 15" alloys & automatic. Just before they switched over to the 2.0ltr models. So with benefit of the great turbo motor, but with all the extra of the later models................ and it's black My 91 turbo-auto is still rolling well at nearly 145k, so loads of life left in this one. Mines getting tired now & IF I was still a UK resident I'd buy it & use mine & this one to make a 'cracking' car! £400? even with a bit of work needed surely a bargain. Come on someone, this car is worth saving! Good luck with the sale.

Paul, thanks very much for your comments. As you point out it is a bargain with a great spec so come on and snap it up someone before it goes on ebay

Im just a little phased by the fact that the back of the car says "ES" suggesting it's not a turbo. however more than likely is the rear screen has been replaced and the badges not been replaced with it!

Yes that's correct the rear screen was replaced about 1 year ago and the badge was not switched over. Easy to pick one up for cheap though I'm sure

Can you elaborate at all on the starting issue? Is it cranking/firing/almost starting/etc?

Still for sale and needs going immediately. I think the starting issue is an immobiliser issue as there is nothing at all when turning the key and it has had a new battery and starter motor
please pm me with any questions/offers |
