Unhappy Random Radio audio message

Evening

I have recently bought a V50 R design as something nice to drive and a new run around to save miles on my other car and while I restore it.
So far I'm really enjoying driving it but it's got a really weird fault.

Every time I turn it on the stereo repeatedly says something like

'connection issue, please hang up'

It'll do this about three times and then stop.

Myself and the garage I bought it from both thought this was a blue tooth issue. But consulting the mannual I don't think I have it as I don't have the phone button on the steering wheel. I've gone through the menu and can't seem to stop it.

Does anyone have any idea on why it's doing this and how to stop it?

Also does anyone know if it's possible to buy a replacement volume knob? I can't seem to find any online.

Thanks

Will

Hi, does your car have an aftermarket bluetooth phone connection device fitted, mine did a similar thing but made horrible bleeping noises through the stereo, turned out it had a parrot CK100 unit fitted but the display and mic had just been chopped off, I bought the parrot parts I needed, fitted them and all is good now

I did think that I've had a quick search and can't see anything obvious. Hopefully get a better search this weekend.
Just odd if it's removed that the system would still recognise it as being there?
