Default XC70 Part No. Query

Hi lads,

The rear wiper motor has given up the ghost on my 53 plate XC70 D5. I've had it out and cleaned it/ greased it to no avail so am pronouncing it goosed.

It turns out this isn't the first time this has happened on this particular XC70 as the motor in there has no part number anywhere on it.

Does anyone know the correct number so I can source a 2nd hand replacement?

Cheers in advance,
Nick

It lists two different ones. I understand that one parks at the left and one at the right depending on RH or LH drive:

9154525
8667188

Anyone know which is which?

This is what I purchased for my 54 plate XC70 - Same as I removed with identical manufacturers numbers etc

Hmmm - given that the current one on mine is a non-OEM replacement and has itself failed, I think I'd rather go for a working second hand genuine unit which I'll re-clean and pack with grease etc. before fitting.

Appreciate the post though mate, thanks. So is that one marked 9154525 or 8667188 if it has original part numbers on? Do you know? The link doesn't say.

The Magneti Marelli one I have provided the link too is what Volvo fit . I tried a secondhand unit but due to the small carbon brushes in the motor didn't last long so purchased new and haven't regretted it. You don't realise how much you rely on the rear wiper on an estate until you lose it !

I went second hand in the end and now have a working rear wiper again. If anyone else needs to know, the volvo part number for a 53 plate XC70 D5 is 8667188

Incidentally, the 'white wheel' on my old one is sound, so if anyone needs this elusive part for their own rebuild, drop me a PM and it's yours.
