Default D5 Vacuum Values ...

Rather than crap on an exiting thread, I thought I would post a specific question ...

I'm getting the usual 'Engine Service Required', and have eliminated the engine mounts, vac activated engine mount solenoid and boost ctl valve.

Taking a vacuum reading directly from the vacuum pump secondary port, I see :

1100 rpm : 21 in Hg
2400 rpm : 24 in Hg - this is the max vac obtainable

Comparing with various posts I have seen on the forum and online videos, most owners are seeing 30 in Hg and up.

Sealing off the servo hose connx at the vac pump primary port made no difference, so there are no leaks in the servo circuit.

What range of vac values should I be seeing with a healthy pump, directly from the secondary port ?

I suspect this low vac effort is the root cause, but interested to get some feedback before I pull the vac pump out for service.

All useful comments gratefully received ...

What symptoms were you seeing with this issue?

Default Brake vacuum leak?

Thought it more sensible to tag onto an existing thread, rather than start another for similar issues.
2004 V70 D5 163 manual.
I have the ECM-6805 fault code, and the car goes into limp mode after hard acceleration. A quick blip of WOT is fine, but sustained causes the limp.
Engine off/on resets it, and it may then be OK for a while. It's just had a new fuel filter, no change.

Vacuum check with my Mityvac gauge shows 20 in/Hg while idling from the secondary port, going up to 27 in/Hg if I blank the brake servo port. Figures the same with or without the downstream stuff connected.

Is this normal for the brake servo to reduce the vacuum, or should it remain static?

No real change in vacuum if i increase revs.
Turbo actuator moves normally from the Mity and holds the vacuum.
I notice a sloooow vacuum leak over the Turbo boost solenoid, improved with a squirt of silicone spray into it. A spare I have is identical - is this normal??
