Default 2010 grey screen audio and Bluetooth?

I have a 2010 model C70 with the mid range audio system ('high performance'?). The Bluetooth system works, but apparently not on the A2DP protocol my recent smartphone uses. If I use the audio app SoundAbout to force the phone to use 'Bluetooth mono' or 'Bluetooth 'mono dynamic', the phone and car connect but the sound quality is bad and the volume low. Is there any way to get this audio set to speak to recent Bluetooth, e.g. a software update? Thanks, Max

Smile Aux in ?

I would try connecting it with old fashioned wires, or 3.5mm jack does your audio have an aux input ?, not sure when A2Dp was around from but maybe not supported in 2008/9 when the audio developed ?
