Any replacement LED bulb that has the same power consumption as the normal incandescent bulb will function error free.

The biggest difference to the incandescent bulb is the generation of heat.

The LED bulbs generate heat on the resistor often in the fitting of the bulb, not at the focal point (incandescent generate heat at the focal point).

This means that such LED bulbs can melt the fitting they are plugged in to

But for the time that they are melting the fitting, you will have no bulb failure messages.

Of course, this won’t happen to all bulbs in all fittings. It depends on the duty cycle of the bulb - indicators are on about 60% of the time, and off about 40% of the time due to the fact that they blink. This reduces the heat accordingly

The biggest heat generators are those bulbs that are on for hours at a time, such as parking lamps and tail lamps.
