Default V90 '17, intellisafety issues

Hi, on Wednesday I tried to use the adaptive cruise control but the driver screen said it was unavailable. I couldn't get it to turn on whatever I did. When I checked the centre screen there are yellow triangles next to collision avoidance, lane keeping and road sign information, so presumably these aren't working either. I can get the cruise control to work but not in adaptive mode. I've read the manual but can't see this particular issue anywhere. Am I missing something? I've phoned the dealer service department twice but they haven't bothered to phone me back, which is typical. Many thanks for any light you can shed on this for me.

Try cleaning the windscreen radar area and the sensors in the bumpers and see if that helps.

Have you had a replacement windscreen fitted recently...? If so then your safety systems may need to be calibrated.

Everything points to forward facing sensors so try cleaning screen and bumpers.

Adaptive Cruise uses only the radar and camera in the windscreen unit as inputs.

Afaik, the ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers are for parking and low speed manoeuvring only.
