I may be buying one and i would like to know how to tell it's a proper one.

I am aware of the dash/rev counter but that's about all i know.

Pictures would help and is there a specific chassis VIN number i should be aware of?

Thanks in advance.

There will no doubt be several regulars who will provide you with all the relevant information, but I'm going to be controvertial(possibly) and say why pay the extra premium for a 123GT(if it's genuine) when you are not even aware of the differences and advantages over a standard Amazon?

I am aware of the differences as what they look like but as i have found over time some differences can be cheated so wanted genuine owners to give me tips as the dash pads are interchangeable as is the steering wheel so fake ones are hard to spot.

Thanks

Jack

The chassis number on the ID plate on the top of the Master cylinder mounting box will tell you all you need to know. Yes one could have been swapped in from a rusty GT shell and you will have to dig a bit deeper to prove it if you think that's a possibility. There are only a moderate number in the UK so if you post the reg number someone is likely to recognise it.

It might be on this 123gt Register list. No reg numbers but the chassis numbers are listed.
