New radiator, front lower arms and arb links, new top and bottom engine mounts (powerflex) new rear arb links, new oil and filter, and another gearbox flush whilst the cooler pipes were off.

Just need another pair of front tyres, a 4 wheel alignment and a osf reluctor ring and we're back to 100% finally!

Hi I am very happy with them, just use a glue gun, put the glue to the leather not the plastic, works very well , if you put the glue to the plastic, it will dry before you get the leather to how you want it, the Volvo ones are stapled to the plastic,

Thumbs up This weekend I have mostly been....

Yesterday I went all out to fix the annoying handbrake issues that are stopping my S60 getting an MOT.
I had purchased all the parts I needed including two handbrake cables, history has taught me that even though you think you might not need something it is better to have it as sods law dictates you'll end up needing it....
Long story short turns out that the handbrake cables weren't needed. Lack of use (as the car had been laid up for a few months) had seen one of the handbrake cables semi-seize up. With everything slackened off and copious use of penetrating oil the o/s cable eased off perfectly and the n/s benefited from some TLC.
Although new shoes weren't needed I fitted them and the jewel in the crown a pair of adjustable handbrake shoe links. Handbrake is better now than it ever has been, why they weren't a standard part is beyond me!
The really good news is that I didn't have to take half of the car apart to fit the new handbrake cables. Result.
MOT next week.... fingers crossed.

This is what happended to my drum when I fitted adjusters. The top of the shoe sat out from the backplate for an unknown reason. Make sure yours doesn't or it will chew a new groove in your drum.

Volvo shoes and pads with Brembo discs. For some odd reason the top of the shoe was hanging away from the backplate. I blamed the adjusters as the original ones have long slots on them that keep the shoes straight and flat/parallel against the backplate. Problem solved when I put the original "adjuster" back on. The handbrake has been great since then and the conclusion is you really don't need the adjusters.
