Most TPMS systems I've come across are reliable, well executed and worthwhile.
Not sure why they're any more relevant on "Nurburgring smashers" than any other car, but why can't you see a point in a system that can quite easily save you from a accident should you have a fairly rapid deflation at motorway speed for example, or at the minimum could save you the cost of a new tyre ?
