C30 dpf temp sensor
Hi.
Ive currently got an ongoing issue that shows the code 2a10: particulate temperature sensor too high Ive taken the temperature sensor out of the dpf and it looks to be miles shorter than the new ones ive seen online. The hole it came from seems to only be maybe an inch or so deep. When ive asked part dealers about this part they say they it should be the correct one i have recieved already but it is simply WAY too long.(about 3”) Does anybody know the exact part number for the temperature sensor that is screwed into the dpf body itself. I cant seem to find anything that looks right. Like i say its only about an inch or so long and theres no evidence to suggest theres anything stuck inside the hole i came from. Thanks for any help. Sorry if its already been covered. Jason. |

What engine is it? Year of car??
In any case, simple answer is go to the dealer they will locate the correct part in seconds from the registration number (though you may pay more...)

Sorry! Didnt think at all about actually telling you the car it was for.
Volvo C30 1.6d 2009. I wanted to try to source it without having to go to the dealer really as the nearest is around 40 miles away from me. |

All sorted:
Dpf had collapsed and broke the sensor. Replaced dpf and sensor and all is good.... so far. |
