Default ebay find - worth it???

Just to clarify - I am not the seller of these items...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=260324131944

Is this lot worth £310???

As far as i can see...

the Steering wheel is cracked...not mint.

the rev counter is complete.... but they usually only go for £100 - £150 ish

the spots? - only thing i can see good about them is the brackets? Volvo wouldn't have fitted lucas would they? thought they were Hella through and through?

someone show me the reasoning?

Jimbo

I Sold a GT rev counter for £270 once, ive seen the brackets go for £80 and the steering wheels can fetch a fair bit, there is one on ebay USA and he has a buy it now price of $550 and its in worse condition than that one, so probally not a bad price, not that im going to put a bid in this close to xmas

They should indeed be Hellas - loads of 123GT info here. Those Lucas units aren't exactly rare and might fetch perhaps £20 / £30 for a pair if nice? I think the perceived value to the bidders is that it appears to be a full 123GT lookalike kit of all the tricky to find aesthetic parts (badges are all available new).

Ouch! Mine (with the correct spots attached too!) were considerably cheaper than that!!!

Wow, thanks guys, both of you...

thanks for the link aswell.....really interesting.

I don't know how to do that smiley with the Jaw-Dropped, but i think thats what i would have put in my original post after i saw that price, but i guess it is all relative...

and like you say Paul, It could be more for the GT lookalike.

Well, actually if there is one thing this post has made me seriously think about is spots for the coming winter...hmmmm...

has anyone made those spot brackets? or are they available? (i'm not fussed as to whether they are original chromed ones...)

thanks again, and i think Stuart is right....this close to Chrimbo... not for me!

Ha-Ha...

I guess the financial crisis and all has started a marked avalanche of GT wheels...

From UK:
Item # 320324563962

From Germany:
Item # 330293834715

Both listed today..

I guess the other German one, at EUR 460 is losing bids now? Or?.. :-)

Apr. a year ago, a NOS horn button for the GT wheel reached apr. GPB 650..

What is it with GT??... :-)
