Default Child car seat advice - help !

My granddaughter (age 4+) ‘graduated’ to a new car seat. My son drives a Passat and after much reading of reviews and checking the fit, buys a Britax Römer with the XP-SICT feature. You know what’s coming. It won’t fit my XC60. It is the well-known fixed headrest problem. To make matters worse, he then went out and bought another identical seat for his second car (a Polo). Words have been spoken.
Apart from a Volvo seat, are there any Group 2/3 seats which do fit an XC60 ? I have the optional rear booster seats, but these won’t be suitable until our granddaughter is somewhat older.

Are you not able to remove the headrests? There's usually a method of releasing them, though not always (without tools and dismantling)

They only seem to 'flap' down on this model.

Just wondering if they have a hidden release. My V70 has to have rear seats dismantled to remove headrests, but front have a hidden release in seat back. Sounds like yours may be same...
