Default "Electric heater" 09 D5 XC70

A scan on VIDA shows that the "Electric heater" is open circuit.
I was unaware of the P3 having an electric heater system in the heating system.

A brief search shows not a lot of info on its replacement.

I've had the interior out for its windscreen water ingress and removal of the carpets to clean the smell of dog **** out of it.

Is this a heater system removal and dissection to get it out? Or am I on a wild goose chase- Man up and endure a "manual warm up"?

Some diesel models, which lack the diesel powered engine/cabin heater, have an electric auxiliary heater instead. The electric one is typically installed in semi-cold regions. In very warm regions you got nothing, in Sweden you got the diesel burning heating system as standard issue.

My car has a aux heater I think as the other morning when I got in and started it, the windscreen started to defrost near the bottom before I had chance to put my belt on and get organised!

I have VIDA reporting back that mine is open circuit. I guess mine has, and is not functioning.
